What level of fitness is required to start?
All fitness levels are welcome. Take advantage of our free individual fitness assessments to identify best exercise options and safety issues before starting. This is especially important if you have recently completed physical therapy and are looking to transition safely to routine exercise. The BFA Group workouts have modifiable programming to accommodate personalized goals.
Can children join?
Membership is limited to adults. BFA Fitness Club specializes in individuals looking for a place to exercise safely when they are in their 40s or up, but anyone 18 or older is welcome to join. We know that life happens and you may sometimes need to bring children so you don't miss a workout. While kids cannot use the equipment, the occasional opportunity to see parents being healthy role models is not a bad thing!
Can workouts be customized to my goals?
Absolutely! We offer modifiable programming of the BFA group workouts to meet personalized goals whether you are looking for functional fitness or athletic performance. The individual assessment, which is the first step toward Club membership, will help to identify the best plan for you.

Our app allows you to reserve your spot in class, connect with other members, and log workouts and strength gains to stay on track with your fitness journey.
What features and amenities can I enjoy as a BFA Fitness Club member?
An air-conditioned workout environment keeps our Club members comfortable year-round, and on nice days, we love opening the garage doors to take advantage of our scenic river rail trail location. For those exercising before work or other activities, we provide clean shower facilities stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and fresh towels. We also have a filtered water bottle–filling station. Every detail is designed to make your workout experience pleasant, convenient, and enjoyable from start to finish.
How are new members guided on getting started?
An individual assessment is complimentary and is the first step towards Club membership. It provides a baseline, identifies safety issues and goals, and allows the Exercise Specialists to tailor exercise plans to your individual needs. You can sign up for your assessment from the website or by calling or messaging us.
Are there virtual workout options?
Yes, some of our programmed exercises require minimum equipment and can be done virtually. This allows you to stay on track with your fitness routine if you are busy or traveling. Talk to one of the Exercise Specialists to get more suggestions!
