Join us in BFA Workouts of the Day, included with Standard Club and Personal Training Memberships. Experience improved strength, endurance, function, and balance. BFA workouts of the Day are programmed by exercise specialists and coached in group sessions to foster a supportive community. We limit class size to a ratio of no more than 8 members to 1 trainer. This ensures adequate supervision and safety, and requires members to reserve class spots through the website or app. The workouts are intense yet safe. Classes last no more than 45-55 minutes. Most exercises use bodyweight movements and traditional fitness equipment, with occasional non-traditional tools like rebounders to keep workouts engaging and fun.

Saturdays we offer "Owner's Choice" workouts that add variety to the exercise programming. Despite them frequently offering a challenge, the Owner's Choice movements are not as intricate as the usual weekday workouts, so require less one-on-one coaching. The Saturday class sizes can therefore be large enough to open them up to your friends and the community. We usually announce a special theme for the workout mid-week.

How It Works

BFA Workouts of the Day focus on functional movements and improved overall fitness. The workouts are structured through periodization, an evidence-based method of strength training, that safely increases overall strength, stability, mobility, flexibility, balance, power, muscle mass, and muscle endurance, while preventing plateauing, injuries, and fatigue. The fitness is planned as season-focused goals with workouts adjusted to the needs and progress of our members. The daily workouts are specially tailored to meet goals and progressively overload each week for safe and effective strength training. Members can have different goals (for example, functional fitness vs. athletic performance), therefore modifications are always available in the workouts.

Breath of Fresh Air Fitness Club workouts are strength-focused. Maintaining and building strength is essential for adults who are aging, navigating menopausal changes, and managing weight, including the growing number of people using GLP-1 medications. To support safe, effective progress, and objectively monitor skeletal muscle mass, we also offer and recommend regular tracking of body composition using our bioimpedance scale.
